This is a great piece, and I like how you tied in the ways in which injustices are being done to Black and Latino young brothers and how we have to stop ourselves from being judgemental about the sagging pants. I never told a brother to pull up their pants, but my grandfather definitely told me to pull mine up once or twice! I am most curious as a food activist about your regimen in keeping vegetarian and juicing - any recipes or sources are most appreciated. By the way, I will be back in BK in September - I will holla then. I have mixed feelings about it as I can see how this can be true at times, but also disagree as it is a blanket statement that does not consider other variables of boxing that regulate emotion including delayed gratification, impulse control, discipline and focus. I think you could easily do a study on youth and boxing using qualitative data (ie-structured interviews with youth and coaches, and interpret the data for trends). If I come across anything I will send it your way and will certainly pass this article along!

Thanks
Neena
Neena Ajwanihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16074755748250412608noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7967633259914835785.post-57988776399030481682013-01-01T18:03:48.923-08:002013-01-01T18:03:48.923-08:00Excellent!
